  • Truly unlimited telephone, remote and onsite engineer visits - We aim to always have a trained engineer on the other end of the phone to immediately help with issues or just provide advice and guidance whenever you need it.
  • Free consultancy - With Beebug support we are happy to be involved. We can offer free expert advice whatever the project, whether it is deciding what brand tablet to buy or sitting in with the school on a major construction project.
  • Free bundled software - We have a number of value added software packages that are available at no additional charge to every school we support:

    • Mass User Creator – Simplify bulk adding of users from your school management system.

  • Disaster Recovery - Even our most basic package includes free disaster recovery on your Server. We do not believe in kicking you while your down and are on hand to deal with emergencies when you are most in need.

Regular Engineer Visits.

We can completely tailor the frequency or regular engineer visits to suit your needs. The primary purpose of these visits would be for making changes, upgrades and improvements to your network. This can include the installation of new hardware or software titles. During the visits, our engineers will carry out the tasks that you assign to them. They will also use their knowledge of changes in ICT and best practices in other schools to make suggestions to improve your network.

We would allocate a specific engineer to carry out the regular visits so they are familiar with your school and staff and helping to build a closer working relationship. All our engineers work for a salary and we do not employ based on zero hour contracts. We pride ourselves on providing higher quality engineers than our competitors and aim to keep a lower turnover of staff to ensure you get consistency.

Online backup.

An offsite backup is an essential requirement for most schools business continuity plans. Historically, schools were using a backup tape based system. While this is an old technology, it does allow you to take tapes offsite easily. You needed to make sure these tapes were encrypted so the data would not fall into the wrong hands. This system also relied heavily on individuals to follow the backup schedule.

More recently, schools have moved to Online (Cloud) Backup or to NAS (Network Attached Storage) drives. Beebug can accomodate either of these solutions but actually believe that you best meet business continuity requirements without breaking the bank using a Hybrid solution.

Not all data needs to be backed up. The actual data backup requirements is down to the schools discretion but as a minimum, we would recommend any data relating to your school management system, safeguarding, reports and staff professional development.

We can tailor a vendor or plan to meet your individual needs.

Your data is encrypted before it leaves your site. These encrypted backup files are then stored in our secure storage centre which is DfE Cloud software services recognised.
